Oooooo. Ooooo. Oooooo. This is me raising my hand Horscheck-style. (I didn't spell him right, but I figure you remember the Cotter kid from t.v.) I want to read a blog about your transition to a whole new adventure in Cali. Do it. And, hire Dan :)

Lori

Kathy, I cracked up at all the OOOOOO's! Yeah, I think transition blog is where I'm headed. Thanks for the encouragement.

Maybe instead of the Road NOT Chosen, you should call it The Road CHOSEN. See the literary juxtapositioning and ironic imagery in that? The whole "Wecome Back" aspect of Kotter is not lost on me here either. My mind is spinning out of control with possibilities of new names for your blog! I will go away now and calm myself down.

Julana

Wow, that will be a big move. Will Evan be ok with it?
Havong a new blog would be fun. I know what you mean. I think I changed , and the blog didn't keep up.

Lori

Julana, Ev wishes we were there now. Nearly all my family is out there so that makes a big difference. Evan has a friend here who was particularly upset at the news. When I told Ev his friend was upset, Ev replied "Why? I'll make new friends!" Yup. That's my boy. :)

Felicity

So excited for you and your big move. Would love to read about what its like to create home again in a place you've always called home. Pretty cool.

Serenity

I'm excited for your news too. People embracing big change like that - albeit, back home in this case - is always inspiring to me. (I kind of crave it for myself, but I can't seem to inspire my husband that way). I think a new blog for the new season is a brilliant idea. Lately I'm trying to ditch all kinds of things at home that don't represent us well, but it's hard to do this quickly. (Especially if it's a vaguely functional piece for which we don't have a replacement.)

Julana

I'm glad for Evan, and thatbyou'll all be closer to relatives.
