Watching or reading the news these days one would think that Armageddon is just around the corner. (In fact I thought I saw a couple of the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse eating lunch today at La Fuente!)
Back in the day when I worked with 2 other bookkeepers in our hectic, crazy pressured Finance Office, the head bookkeeper, Barb Y. had a unique way of keeping us all from being stressed out. She would play classic Disney music. You remember, the “When I Wish Upon A Star” kind. Who could stay down long with that on? She was also a BIG believer in the healing power of…cartoons. Yes, cartoons. Laughter is good for the soul and a good Roadrunner cartoon can make you feel light as a feather.
So take a few minutes out of your day and enjoy some free laughs, on me!
And that is just one reason why I love Barb Y.!!

You are awesome. I didn't have to turn it on, however, because Jake is watching them in the living room right now! :) Most of his viewing habits are persuaded by me. He really likes Mary Poppins and Pete's Dragon, and he sings all the songs. I could never really get any of my boys into The Little Mermaid though. I think if I consider that long enough, I'll be really, really glad.

Thanks, Lori! Natalie liked watching it with me too. Although, she doesn't really understand cartoons of that sort yet, and kept asking, "What?" every time I laughed. :)
